Join Abby Jacob and Erika Van Gemeran for a Transformative Bhakti Yoga Retreat
Samadhi Retreat Center | Sacred Valley, Peru
Nestled in the heart of Peru’s Sacred Valley, Samadhi Retreat Center invites you to immerse yourself in the ancient practice of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of devotion and divine love.
Surrounded by the Andean mountains and the powerful energy that has drawn seekers for generations, this retreat offers a space for your heart to open and your spirit to reconnect. In this sacred landscape, you will experience the transformative power of devotion through movement, mantra, and meaningful connection. The Sacred Valley has a deep personal history with Abby and Erika alike.
Over the course of this 7-day immersive retreat, each day is intentionally designed to balance structure with spaciousness. You will be guided through twice daily yoga practices, with a morning session held before breakfast to awaken the body and breath, and an evening session held before dinner to support integration and deep relaxation.
These practices will weave together asana, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing, offering both energizing and deeply restorative experiences.
We are also honored to welcome sacred music facilitator Bodhi Starwater, who was trained in the Andes and will guide us through sound healing experiences throughout the retreat. His work carries a deep connection to the land and traditions of this region. In addition to group sessions, Bodhi will be offering private sound healing sessions for those who feel called to deepen their experience during the retreat. You can learn more about his offerings at
At the heart of the retreat is Bhakti—the path of love and devotion—expressed through daily chanting and mantra, as well as two full kirtan experiences throughout the week. These gatherings provide an opportunity to open the heart, connect in community, and experience the depth and joy of devotional practice.
Each day, you will enjoy three nourishing vegetarian meals, thoughtfully prepared to support your body and practice.
There will also be ample free time to enjoy the retreat center and surrounding Sacred Valley. You may choose to rest, explore the area, or participate in optional excursions and experiences organized through the retreat center.
